Her Story

A Natural Progression — From Bedside to Advocacy

After dedicating 15 years of my career to nursing, I felt compelled to take on a new role as a nurse healthcare advocate. My extensive experience in healthcare — including elderly specialties, inpatient medical/surgical, assisted living, intensive critical care, in-home nursing and geriatric care — provided me with a deep understanding of the intricacies of patient care, hospital protocols, and medical procedures. This knowledge, combined with my passion for helping others, led me to pursue a career that allows me to make a broader impact within the healthcare industry.

As a nurse healthcare advocate, I am able to utilize my expertise to provide valuable insights and guidance to healthcare organizations. I offer comprehensive assessments, develop effective strategies, and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and optimize healthcare delivery. My goal is to bridge the gap between clinical practice and administrative decision-making, ensuring that both aspects work harmoniously to provide the best possible care for patients and their families.

Becoming a nurse healthcare advocate has been a natural progression for me. It allows me to leverage my years of experience at the bedside, while also enabling me to contribute to the development of healthcare policies and protocols. I am dedicated to advocating for patient-centered care, promoting quality improvement initiatives, and empowering healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools they need to excel in their roles.

Through my journey as a nurse healthcare advocate, I am committed to making a positive difference in healthcare by fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. I am grateful for the opportunity to utilize my nursing background in a way that allows me to have a broader impact on patient care, and healthcare systems as a whole.
